Hi I'm Joost and I'm here today with the Reusel matt clay and the Reusel fiber pomade

Now they look very similar but of course it's what's inside and that's quite different

Here we have the fiber pomade which is a bit a little bit smooth and it smells like almost

a chocolate mint. It's very minty. And then we have the clay here, the matt clay which is quite harder and it smells more of

like a medicine. This is very rugged and manly. But they both are on the rugged side

The Reusel matt clay and it's one of the strongest clays that I've tested

And it smells a little bit more like a medicine than like a pomade

And it's a little bit more of a manly smell than some of the other pomades I've tested

which have more like a metro man smell which I'm more accustomed to

But it does have a cool matte finish and a very strong hold

You can see that on my back and sides. So it's not really that messy look

It still has a little bit of drying to it but it's a perfect product to get your hair

to go exactly in the way you want it without having like this crunchy texture of a gel

Now this clay is actually a little bit harder and drier than most

So it's pretty dry when you take this out of the tin

So the way I like to use this is just take a little out and then rub that all over my

hands to make sure that there are no lumps. Because it can be pretty lumpy

Now when I've rubbed that all over my hands then I go through my hair and do every part

of my hair. And then I like to take a little extra out of the tin and do the back and sides of my

hair just to make sure that it stays in place all day

Now this is perfect for holding your hair up and it's also perfect for a little bit

longer hair like my son's to get it to stay to the side or have like a messy look

And this actually is pretty matte. So I really recommend this one for people who want a really strong hold all day with

a completely matte look. The Reusl Fiber Pomade and it has a medium hold on my hair

I mean look at that. You can see that. And it has a little bit of a lighter hold than other Reusl products but it's still able

to hold my hair up pretty well. Now the smell is also very very manly but it's more of like a minty smell

The Reusl brand always has a cool rugged design with like the pig on there

And they're actually tins. So not a lot of brands use actual tins anymore

So this is very pasty. A lot more than the Reusl Matte Clay for example

But it's still a matte finish here. I think it's in between a fiber paste and a pomade

Well it says pomade but it's not really a pomade for me

It's more like a matte fiber paste. So it's quite sticky. So what I like to do is rub it across my hands and make sure that it's evenly divided

So I don't get any lumps anywhere. And then go through my hair and move that up and spiky

And then I just take a little bit extra and do the back and sides of my hair again

Just to make sure that they stay in place all day. Now the hold on this is a little bit less

But a little less suitable for my short and spiky hair. I also did my son's hair
