Oh man, I've been wanting to get my hands on one of these for a long time
0:24
And it's finally here. So the GTRS, guitars, I think for short, because you can
0:29
can do multiple guitar simulations with this one guitar from Moire. And well, the specs are really nothing to write home about
0:38
It's a basewood body, a rosewood fretboard. So expecting just a little less twang than like with a stratocaster, with a fender stricaster
0:48
But it's all really decent. I've tried playing this for quite a while now
0:53
And the action is actually out of the box pretty good. So that's good so far
0:58
And the tuners are GTRS. made it seems and this stay in tune quite well. Now it comes with this nice padless
1:07
gig bag which is looks pretty solid and it's a nice last compartment in the front
1:11
and also like this thing to keep the neck into place that you can put it in
1:17
it's also pretty nice so with this kick bag you can really take this anywhere
1:21
without the guitar getting damaged to anything and you also get like this little
1:26
book with it which is essential because well There are all these features on this guitar even more than others
1:33
So you really need to read the book. You get a bag of tools to adjust the truss rod, like with any guitar
1:41
And we also get your little tremolo, right here, tremolo arms. You can put that in the guitar in
1:47
Start using that as well. So you can see how that looks. And I really love the vintage look of these guitars
1:54
So it really is a modern instrument with a lot of modern features
1:58
but the looks of this one and I got the C-FOM green one
2:02
I like that the most. And it really just looks like a vintage, cool stratocaster instrument that, well, that you can play anywhere without it
2:10
People even noticing that this is a really modern guitar with all of these features built in
2:14
So the specs, well they're fine, they're not really, really awesome. And I don't expect just for these specs, this guitar to be the price that it is
2:24
But what you pay for is, of course, this one really cool. button. This is what I was wanting to try out this button because this can change for all of the
2:33
settings for you and it can do guitar simulations and can also do effects for you right out of
2:42
this guitar. So one of the advantages here and I think that's why this thing is so great
2:46
for beginner guitarists because one thing you may not know what type of guitar is best for you
2:52
So this is kind of a middle ground for all of that but also you can just plug in your headphones
2:56
here you already have your effects right in the guitar so the output of the sound
3:01
into your headphones is just with effects to the guitar that you choose
3:06
You can even do drum loops with this so you can really get started with playing anywhere
3:24
without having to well buy or have a separate door pedal. But I also wanted to see if all of these effects are usable enough for like playing on stage
3:33
So the way you can change everything is by downloading the guitar app
3:38
So let's do that. Let me record my screen here so you can follow along
3:42
Just go into the Google Play Store and look for the Guitar S app Guitar S by Moare So let install it It already has over 10 downloads So this is quite a popular guitar actually
3:57
Okay, so once you download that, you can open it and hold it sideways
4:01
And now first thing you need to do is connect this and search for nearby products
4:05
So then it's found it. You just click into that and now it's connecting
4:09
Then you just need to scan the QR code on the back here to make sure that this product
4:15
is connected to your phone. So there's QR code. And with the button, you can set this to any tone you want
4:22
So when I push this, you can also see that changing in the app. So right now I'm in 0b, clean the tone
4:27
So turn up the volume. Push it again
4:38
I have a British lead. And even with the amp models, we can still change the pickup setting right here
4:57
We'll change the sound accordingly, so that's also pretty cool. So, stored in here some pretty cool sounds already
5:45
I'm gonna be the I'm gonna and the I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm
5:57
and then the you know and I'm I'm I'm and I'm the
6:11
So the action is also quite low. which is kind of the way I like it
6:43
It's a little bit in between the fast wizard necks from Ibanez with the 14 inch radius and like standard stratacasters
6:51
with like an 8 or 10 radius. So this is a 12 inch radius and so it's kind of in the middle there
6:57
So even the neck and the playability is a little bit in between the guitars that you can model
7:02
Now within the app you can also change the few settings, you can load
7:05
these different sounds from the tone library like a blues, a blues lead
7:10
and you can lead that in the music. into the guitar. You can also go into the settings and do like a drum machine. You can also do a tuner and need to tune it just a little bit. So let's do that as well
7:22
So it's also pretty handy here for tuner. Right here in the app. And of course it connects to the guitar wirelessly
7:33
And the sound turns back on automatically once you switch off the tuner So that also pretty cool You can do like a drum machine here Set the bpm You can even see the speed of the drum machine right there on the screen
8:07
You know, and then the and the I'm . н maybe
8:17
maybe change the form a little bit here. Maybe change the form a little bit here
8:41
It's kind of hard to hear. You turn it off again
9:15
You can do chords with this, so learn chords right within the app, which is also pretty cool
9:20
And that's why all of these things, what is this great guitar for beginners
9:24
Because you have all these built-in apps right here, and the guitar works seamlessly with this app
9:29
So that's kind of cool. You also have a looper, so you can start recording that
9:41
I'm So, the different tones here
10:41
You can save that to the spot and maybe call it something that you want
11:00
So now this is in here and you can cycle through the tones and now have the Neosol one right here
11:11
I'm going to be. So you have four spots here right on the guitar
11:59
route from the library or exchange even some with via the cloud so people can create
12:06
these tones and then you can also access them so which is pretty cool
12:10
You can see that in the folders that you have you can also change the output of the guitar
12:15
so I have Bluetooth or USB out sound a little bit harder than the output of the guitar itself
12:20
so that makes it a little bit easier to record for example on your computer while still
12:25
having an output to your amp which is also pretty cool and you can of course disk
12:29
connect the guitar. You can also turn off these smart features right here by turning down
12:34
this knob and now it's just the output of the wood, the neck wood and these pickups right
12:41
here so you can still build the guitar and this is what this guitar really sounds like without
12:48
any of the effects. I'm
13:29
Of course you can play like this and it won't cost you any batteries so you can always play just with your guitar with live gigs or anything and the sounds actually well pretty good
13:40
Like I said it's a little bit less twangy than maybe regular stratocastic guitars
13:47
It's also because of the humbucker right here but I think they did that in purpose to just make it a little bit more versatile and get more like lead sounds out of it as well because this is supposed to
13:59
to be well a guitar for just about everyone. Now this also comes with a few disadvantages
14:06
because maybe the fretboard radius is not for everyone. You still get like a
14:12
Stratocaster reach right over here but the radius is just a little bit flatter than with like a
14:21
fender stratocaster or squire stricaster and maybe fenders more in this price range though
14:26
So even though it plays really nice and it could really play this at a gig
14:32
For the money the specs are just a little bit less than you get with a regular guitar
14:38
But of course you don't have to buy any additional pedals. You can just play with this straight out of the box with all of the built-in effects
14:45
And they actually are really pretty cool. I think they're just the stock more air effects
14:50
But you get the added bonus here of the TAR modeling that it does as well
14:55
and I remember when I bought the first guitar modeling, well true modeling guitar ever, the very ex
15:02
that was a long time ago. And I liked it for the versatility, but this is more of a combination of a real guitar
15:09
and then just that cool action button right here. So I really recommend this, anyone looking for
15:15
a versatile guitar to get started with, even though it might be a little bit out of the
15:19
price range for most beginners, you can really get a lot out of this guitar and go a long way
15:25
Thank you
