I'm Joost and I'm here with the Eargasm vs the Decibels earplugs
0:08
And I have both of them in. Here the Eargasm ones and here the Decibel ones
0:12
And I really do like the Eargasm ones because they're a little bit less cumbersome
0:16
But I've tested these and they are a little bit less soundproof
0:20
These are supposed to help with 10 dB of sound and these Earballs are supposed to help with
0:25
up to 21 dB of sound. And this is because these are moldable so you can put these in hot water and then mold
0:34
them to your shape, to your ear shape. And this really helps close up the gap between the rubber and your ear
0:42
So this one is molded to my ear and it really is a bit larger so you really do see that
0:48
you have this one in. But of course you can get it in some cool colors so maybe that's just like a plus anyway
0:55
But it's a little bit more cumbersome. You have to mold these in advance so that's one thing
1:01
And also the Eargasm earplugs, they have this cool little canister that you can take with
1:05
you and this has like a keychain so you can take this with you anywhere and not forget them
1:12
And I have forgotten my Decibels on quite some occasion. You get a little carrying pouch with it where you can put them in
1:19
So there is a way to carry them but I have forgotten this to some venues from time to time
1:26
So in that way the Eargasm product design is a little bit better thought out
1:31
But of course it's all about how well these help your ears from getting damaged by excess noise
1:38
So I've been using these both to concerts and music venues and while I do get a little
1:44
bit better of a sound through from these with all of the lower bass noises bleeded out
1:51
I do think that these will help your ears quite well enough
1:55
So if you want the ultimate protection I suggest these Decibels and if you want just
2:01
a little bit less protection but a little bit more ease of use then I suggest these Eargasms
